Don’t Stress. Hire the Who.

Why “Who Not How” Is a Game-Changer for DELCO. And for You

There’s a book that changed my life.
It’s called Who Not How by Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy.

The premise is simple, but powerful:
When faced with a challenge or opportunity, don’t ask “How do I do this?”
Ask “Who can help me do this?”

This shift in thinking changed how I live, how I lead, and how I serve.

From DIY to Delegation with Purpose

I grew up in a culture of doing things yourself. There’s pride in that. Mowing your own lawn. Fixing what’s broken. Figuring it out on your own.

But I also know what it’s like to sit on an idea, or a to-do list for months because I didn’t know how to start, or I felt I had to do it all myself.

Then Who Not How hit me like a lightning bolt.
I started hiring experts instead of becoming one in everything. I stopped postponing projects I cared about and started completing them; by collaborating with people who were already great at the thing I was struggling with.

It wasn’t just about outsourcing tasks, it was about reclaiming my time, my focus, and my energy for what I do best.

Books like Dan Martell’s Buy Back Your Time reinforced this for me. They helped me realize that time isn’t just money…it’s life. And the more we delegate with intention, the more we get to live.
